Start a sequence
An empty sequence offers two ways to begin:- Build with Norbe — share the campaign goal and Norbe plans the subjects, follow-ups, and timing as one connected journey.
- Add the first email — start writing it yourself.
The email journey
Emails send on a schedule with a wait between each — and a reply stops the follow-ups.
Once sending starts, each card also shows a metric strip: sent, opened, replied, and
bounced.
Timing between emails
Between the cards you’ll see a clickable “wait N days” pill — that’s the gap before the next email goes out. Click it to change the number. The first email always sends as soon as someone joins the campaign (Day 1). New
follow-ups default to a 3-day wait, which you can adjust.
Add follow-ups
Press Add follow-up to append a new email to the journey. You can reorder emails later from inside the editor (move a step earlier or later). Keyboard shortcuts help you move fast: J / K jump between emails and Enter opens the selected one.Replies stop the sequence
This is a core safety feature: when someone replies, their follow-ups stop automatically. Nobody gets “just following up…” after they already answered you. You’ll see this reflected on the message page (“Sequence stopped on their reply — later emails won’t send to them”).Check your work
Use Check with Norbe to have the assistant review the whole sequence for issues, and Export results (once there’s data) to pull the numbers out. Any email still marked “Needs copy” is called out in amber so you know what’s left before you can launch.Writing each email
Opening an email card takes you to the focused editor, where you write the copy, add personalization, create A/B versions, and send yourself a test:Writing emails
