Replies to your campaigns come back into Norbelys automatically (that’s what the IMAP connection is for). You answer them right in the app, and the sequence stops for anyone who replies so they never get an awkward follow-up.

Where your replies live

There are three places replies surface, and they work together:
  • Home and Analytics show a “Needs you” count of replies waiting — your daily starting point.
  • The Activity feed (under Analytics) is your message list — every email and event as one log, newest first, each row linking to the full conversation.
  • The email page (/email/:id) is the reading view for a single message and its whole back-and-forth.

The whole thread is shown as one card, oldest to newest, like Gmail. Collapsed messages are slim rows; the message you opened and the reply after it expand automatically so you can read them. A bounced or failed message shows a red label even when collapsed.

On the right:
  • Next step — the single best action, e.g. “They’re interested — reply while it’s warm,” with a Reply now button. For an engaged unknown sender you can Create person or Add to campaign.
  • Journey — a timeline of what happened: Sent → Delivered → Opened → Clicked → Replied, plus terminal events like bounce, spam, or unsubscribe.
  • Details and Person cards for context.

How replies are classified

Norbelys reads each reply and gives it an honest verdict:

Answering a reply

Use the composer at the bottom of the conversation. The subject auto-fills with “Re:,” and you get a rich-text editor with formatting, links, and attachments. Two AI helpers:
  • Draft with AI — writes a reply using the whole conversation as context.
  • Another take — regenerates a different angle.
Press Reply to send it from your mailbox. Nothing ever auto-sends — the draft is always yours to edit and approve first.
When someone replies, their sequence stops automatically. The email page states this plainly, e.g. “Sequence stopped on their reply — later emails won’t send to them,” so you never have to worry about a follow-up going out after they answered.

Reading the evidence

Each message has an Activity log (“every signal this email produced, with how much we trust each one”) and a View source control to see the plain-text, HTML, or raw version. The preview strips tracking, so opening an email in Norbelys never fires your own open pixel.
